Key Lot
A lot in such a position that one side is adjacent to the back of other lots. It is considered to be the least desirable of the lots in a subdivision.

KICK PLATE                                                                                                                                                                     A metal or plastic strip, placed at the lower edge of a door or on a riser of a step to protect it from damage by accidental kicking.
